ToolGrind HSS-X 1400 is a high-performance grinding oil designed for use in the production of tools from steel materials. It offers a significant reduction in grinding burn and a low burr formation. Building on our popular ToolGrind series, HSS-X 1400 has been specifically developed for grooving, profile grinding, and both internal and external cylindrical grinding. It is suitable for use with all steel materials, such as HSS, PM and medical steels.
As part of its development phase, ToolGrind HSS-X 1400 underwent rigorous testing within our dedicated in-house grinding research centre. As well we confirming the optimum blend of high purity base oils and performance enhancing additives had been achieved to give excellent cooling, wetting and lubrication, it was also possible to extend the intervals between dressing cycles during repeated grinding, and considerably increase the material removal rate when using ToolGrind HSS-X 1400; benefits which customers who have made the switch to the new fluid are reporting.
